Freedom to speak up, whistleblowing or raising concerns are all the same thing.

We want to support a culture of learning, openness and transparency throughout our whole organisation. We have a team of borough Freedom To Speak Up (FTSU) champions – people who are trained to listen to any concerns you may have. Our FTSU Guardian has overall responsibility for ensuring that staff across our organisation are supported in raising any concerns.

Should colleagues have a concern that they wish to raise, then they can contact their local borough FTSU champion or any other member of the team, if they prefer. We keep information confidential unless colleagues want us to take further action. We will gather themes, however, from the issues raised with the FTSU team to help the ICB make improvements for all our people and staff.
