The South East London Integrated Care Board has the responsibility for the commissioning and oversight of services and is accountable for NHS spend and performance. It also sets the strategic direction across the system. Along with the Integrated Care Partnership, the ICB holds the leadership to account for delivering the south east London health and care strategy. It is committed to supporting the principle of subsidiarity through its approach to delegation to local care partnerships and provider collaboratives, recognising that most delivery of care will take place at a borough or neighbourhood level.
