SEL ICB’s new set of statutory Equality Objectives has now been developed and published. These are in line with the ICB’s strategic objectives and new Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Strategy.
These objectives, which are refreshed annually, focus on ensuring equitable and inclusive access, experience and outcomes for people and communities who use our services or staff who are employed by the ICB.
The new Equality Objectives fall broadly into these three categories:
Improving access and engagement
Supporting workplace culture
Strengthening inclusive leadership
Strengthen and broaden diverse service user, patient, and caregiver involvement and communication to develop and improve services.
Understand and support health and wellbeing of different staff groups and reinforce ‘zero-tolerance’ to bullying, harassment, and violence during this period of change.
Continue to raise awareness and demonstrate commitment to EDI among senior leaders.
