Healthier Together for south east London is now live. It is a NHS-endorsed website designed to support parents, pregnant women and birthing people, carers, young people, and healthcare professionals with clear, trusted information about common childhood health needs. The Healthier Together website signposts when and where to seek the right care, and provides access to a wide range of clinical resources and information on locally available services.
The website was originally created by NHS colleagues in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight and has won a number of awards, including the HSJ’s ‘Reducing Health Inequalities through Digital’ award in 2024.
Different NHS areas have their own version of the site, which contains generic and locally specific information – and the south east London site is live now.

The site has clinical guidance, self-care advice and local service information. It also includes a dedicated section for professionals with referral information and resources to support clinical decision-making and communication with families.
Clinicians can signpost families to Healthier Together during consultations, include the link when providing remote advice via email or in text messages, or reference it in discharge and follow-up information. The content has been clinically reviewed and provides consistent safety-netting advice.
The information provided empowers families to manage illnesses confidently at home where appropriate and gives advice on where and when to seek help when required. The website is written in accessible language and has a translation tool, making it easier for families to access.
