Held on 8 July, the session brought together colleagues from across health, care, local authorities and the Voluntary, Community, and Social Enterprise (VCSE) sector to explore the future of digital healthcare and the role of technology in supporting more integrated and person-centred care.

The webinar included an overview of the NHS 10 Year Plan’s shift from analogue to digital. Topics included the NHS App as the future digital front door to the NHS, single patient record, AI-enabled services, the NHS Companion and work to improve digital inclusion.

Attendees also heard from the NHS South East London Integrated Care Board (SEL ICB) digital team about progress being made to support integrated neighbourhood teams. The session showed how digital tools can help reduce duplication, improve information sharing and support people to manage their care more effectively.

The webinar generated strong engagement, with questions on NHS App integration, digital inclusion, AI governance, information sharing, data security, community and primary care integration, and the future of patient-facing digital services.

The session is part of the SEL neighbourhood care staff activation series, supporting colleagues to understand, adopt and champion the digital tools and technologies that will support the future delivery of integrated care.
