Ed Waller
Chief Commissioning Officer and Deputy Chief Executive
Ed Waller joined in September 2026, from Kent and Medway ICB where was Deputy Chief Executive and Chief Commissioning Officer.
Before that, Ed spent a number of years at NHS England, most recently as the Deputy Chief Financial Officer for Strategic Finance and Planning, as part of which he led the central NHS planning for the General Election in 2024. He was the NHS England Director of Primary Care, leading the settlement of new contracts for Community Pharmacy and General Practice as part of the NHS Long Term Plan in 2019. In that role he was national SRO for the primary care response to covid and seconded to lead the primary care part of the covid vaccine programme.
Ed grew up on the edge of south west London and is now a longstanding resident of south east London.
