Bromley Well is a unique partnership of 4 local charities – Age UK Bromley and Greenwich, Bromley Mencap, Bromley Lewisham and Greenwich Mind and Citizens Advice Bromley – funded by Bromley Council and the local NHS.

Bromley Well has been providing emotional and practical support for unpaid carers since 2017. The award for their ‘Excellence for Carers’ quality standard by the national charity Carers Trust is a significant achievement for all the staff and volunteers at the 4 local charity partners.

David Walker, CEO at Bromley Well contract managers, Bromley Third Sector Enterprise said:

“We’re immensely pleased to receive this Award. It shows the commitment of everyone at Bromley Well to provide consistently high quality services to unpaid carers in Bromley borough. It’s well deserved recognition of all the hard work by the different teams in our partnership. The Award also demonstrates the real benefits of working in partnership – for residents, staff and the local commissioning organisations at One Bromley.”

Helen Oliver,  Carers Trust’s Quality Assurance and Improvement Manager shared:

“We are delighted to be able to present the Excellence for Carers award to Bromley Well. The partnership have worked incredibly hard to develop their approach and we are delighted to see the progress they have made. The organisations that make up the Bromley Well partnership have shown a clear commitment to providing excellent services for unpaid carers and we very much look forward to working with them moving forwards as their services continue to thrive.”
