Eltham Palace Surgery to close
The Healthier Greenwich Partnership has taken a decision to close Eltham Palace Surgery.
GP services will not be available at Eltham Palace Surgery after Friday 18 September 2026. Patients will all be receiving letters in mid August explaining steps they need to take to register with a different practice.
The decision to close Eltham Palace Surgery was made by the Healthier Greenwich Partnership on Thursday 23 July 2026, following the Care Quality Commission’s cancellation of the Eltham Palace Surgery GP partners’ legal authority to operate as a GP practice. Patient views were considered as part of the decision-making process.
Healthier Greenwich Partnership is working closely with Eltham Medical Practice which is providing services for Eltham Palace Surgery patients until 18 September. Support is in place to help patients register with another practice and to continue to have access to high-quality primary medical services.
