The South East London Neighbourhood Care Staff Activation webinar series will be launching in April and will run throughout 2026/27, with the first session being held on Thursday, 30 April 2026.

Why attend?

Neighbourhood care is a key transformation priority across the ICS. This session will help health and care colleagues across SE London – regardless of role or organisation understand the vision, ask questions, and start building the foundations for integrated working at a local level. This first session is designed to:

  • Raise awareness around neighbourhood care and the direction of travel for SEL in this area
  • Build understanding of this transformation and left shift towards neighbourhood working
  • Empower staff with the information and tools to lead this change in local areas and teams

Session 1: Introduction to Neighbourhood Care

Organised by the SE London ICS People Programme, this first webinar will provide an introduction to:

  • What Neighbourhoods (NH) and Integrated Neighbourhood Teams (INTs) are
  • What neighbourhood care means for SE London
  • Our system-wide vision for delivering more joined‑up, proactive and personalised care
  • How neighbourhood care aligns with the NHS 10-year plan, Three Left Shifts, and SEL priorities
  • How staff across health, care and the VCSE sector are central to enabling this transformation

Speakers

We are delighted to be joined by:

  • Holly Eden, Director of Delivery – Neighbourhoods and Population Health, SEL ICB
  • Dr George Verghese, GP Partner, Waterloo Health Centre and co-chairs of the SEL Neighbourhood Base Care Board
  • Ceri Jacob, Lewisham Place Executive Lead, NHS SEL ICS and co-chairs of the SEL Neighbourhood Base Care Board
