Group A Strep –  What you need to know

Group A Strep is a common bacteria which causes a range of infections, including scarlet fever. These infections are usually mild.

Cases of more invasive Group A Strep are rare, but are linked to more serious illness. Parents should know what to look out for. There is more information available on the NHS Website.
