Lead for Sexual and Reproductive Health
I was appointed as the Bexley Clinical and Care Professional Lead for Sexual and Reproductive Health in July 2024. In this role I am committed to designing, improving, and transforming sexual and reproductive health services, ensuring enhanced access to care, better information on sexual health, and increased STI and HIV testing. I take a systems leadership approach, fostering collaboration across partners to create more integrated and accessible services for the Bexley community.
I am actively engaged in HIV awareness and education, including having presented an HIV-themed Lunch and Learn session in December 2024 to align with World AIDS Day. I regularly collaborate with HIV GP champions across South East London, supporting knowledge sharing and best practices.
Additionally, I am involved in the SEL LARC Working Group, contributing to the exchange of ideas and innovations in long-acting reversible contraception (LARC). I continue to support Bexley clinicians interested in LARC training and work closely with Bromley Healthcare, the new Bexley Sexual Health provider, to revamp the Bexley Sexual Health website for improved accessibility and user experience.
I am a direct liaison with key panels, such as the LMC, LPC, and PCDWG, attending meetings as needed to ensure strategic alignment and advocacy for sexual and reproductive health priorities.
