
Lewisham residents aged 16 and over can now use getUBetter, a free app offering advice and exercises for common muscle and joint problems.
The app has been approved by local clinicians and is available alongside existing NHS care. It provides personalised information based on a person’s condition and stage of recovery.
Many common muscle and joint problems can be managed safely at home without a specialist appointment. getUBetter can help people understand their symptoms, follow appropriate exercises and know when to seek further help. Information in the app is available in 20 languages.

“getUBetter is a safe and effective way to help people manage their injury or condition at home, at work and on the move. It covers a range of problems, including those affecting the back, neck, shoulder, wrist, hip, knee, ankle and foot, as well as sprains and strains”.
