Lewisham

Lewisham Council and The Lewisham Care Partnership are introducing a ground-breaking PrEP (Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis) clinic embedded in general practice. This new service is breaking down barriers to HIV prevention by offering confidential, accessible, comprehensive and stigma-free care directly from a local general practice.

Hosted at St John’s Medical Centre, the weekly clinic will provide expert advice and tailored support for people who want to take control of their health in a comfortable and judgement-free environment. The dedicated team will be able to support ALL Lewisham residents, not just those registered with TLCP, to take control of their own health.

What does the clinic offer?

The TLCP PrEP clinic will offer a wide range of services to ensure comprehensive and accessible HIV prevention care including:

  • PrEP prescriptions and management
  • HIV testing and screening
  • Sexually Transmitted Infection (STI) testing
