General practice services in south east London are set to benefit from over £7 million in new national funding.
NHS England has announced £101 million for general practice across the country through the Better Utilisation Fund. South east London has been allocated £3.31 million as part of this investment.
In addition, a further £3.9 million has been awarded to south east London through the latest round of Long-Term Investment in General Practice and General Practice IT funding.
This means practices in the region will receive more than £7 million in total to spend between December 2024 and March 2025 to improve access, patient experience and support staff.
Further details on how the funding will be used locally will be shared in the coming weeks.
