General practice services in south east London are set to benefit from over £7 million in new national funding.
NHS England has announced £101 million for general practice across the country through the Utilisation and Modernisation Fund. South east London has been allocated £3.31 million as part of this investment.
In addition, a further £3.9 million has been awarded to south east London through the London Improvement Grant.
This means practices in the region will receive more than £7 million in total to improve access, patient experience and support staff.
Further details on how the funding will be used locally will be shared in the coming weeks.
