Congratulations to our Chair, Sir Richard Douglas CB, who received a knighthood for his services to the NHS in the King’s Birthday Honours this year.
Sir Richard has held several high-profile roles in government and in the NHS over the years, including having primary responsibility for NHS policy and the government’s relationship with the NHS while working at the Department for Health and Social Care, and also as Head of the Government Finance profession. Sir Richard was also appointed as Non-Executive Director to the Department of Health and Social Care in March 2024.
