NHS South East London wins Gold at the HSJ Awards
Congratulations to South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust for winning Gold alongside South East London Mind and Mind in Bexley in the Best Not for Profit category at the HSJ Partnership Awards.
The award recognised their work with the South East London Suicide Bereavement Service, which provides vital emotional and practical support to people who have lost a loved one to suicide.
The South East London Bereavement Service aims to reduce the risk of further deaths through preventative work, as those who have lost loved ones in this way are at greater risk of dying by suicide themselves.
Support from the service is person-centred, flexible and non-judgemental, while recognising the importance of managing risk effectively and compassionately.
