SE London ICS Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Awards 2026 – Nominations now open
Nominations have now opened for the second annual SE London Integrated Care System (ICS) Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) Awards, which will take place on Thursday, 28 May 2026.
The theme of this year’s awards is From Voice to Action – recognising the collective commitment to move beyond listening to demonstrable leadership action, accountability and measurable change in response to what our staff are telling us.
Building on the success of last year’s event, the awards will once again aim to recognise individuals and teams who are driving meaningful progress in equality, diversity and inclusion and helping shift organisational culture across south east London’s health and care system.
The awards provide an opportunity to celebrate work that is making a tangible difference — from innovative initiatives and impactful community engagement to inclusive leadership and allyship.
Award categories for 2026 include:
- Rising Star in EDI
- Innovation in EDI
- Community Impact in EDI
- Staff Network of the Year
- Inclusive Team of the Year
- Inspirational Inclusive Leader of the Year
- Ally of the Year
Nominations are encouraged for individuals or teams who have demonstrated commitment to building a more inclusive environment. This may include ground-breaking initiatives, consistent allyship, impactful community work or teams that have created genuinely inclusive workplaces.
Recognition plays an important role in strengthening the EDI community across the system. Sharing and amplifying examples of impactful work helps organisations learn from each other and encourages further progress.
Colleagues across the system are encouraged to reflect on those around them who may have gone above and beyond in their work to promote equality, diversity and inclusion — particularly individuals who may not put themselves forward for recognition.
The deadline for submitting nominations is 19 April 2026. Winners will be announced at the awards on 28 May 2026. Further details about the event will follow soon.
