On the afternoon of 5 July, a vibrant group of 55 people from Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust proudly took part in this year’s Pride in London parade.
The group included LGBTQ+ colleagues, allies and service users from across the Trust – all coming together to celebrate diversity, inclusion and equality.
Their presence was organised by Oxleas’ LGBTQ+ Network, which plays a key role in promoting visibility and support for LGBTQ+ communities within the organisation.
Tobias Hill, Chair of the Network, said:
“Now more than ever, it’s important that we create and maintain safe spaces for all members of the LGBTQ+ community – spaces where people feel seen, respected and supported.”
Pride in London remains a vital opportunity for NHS staff and service users to stand together in solidarity, celebrating progress while continuing to push for lasting equality.
