Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust

The Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust Green Plan will deliver the trust’s commitment to a greener future, aligned with the Government’s ‘three big shifts’ outlined in the 10 Year Health Plan for England: hospital to community, analogue to digital, sickness to prevention.

This will be made through a co-ordinated approach, including:

  • Delivering home appointments and remote care to reduce emissions from travel
  • Implementing digital tools that help staff make the best clinical decisions and reduce emissions
  • Helping staff and patients to walk, wheel and cycle and choose increasingly plant-based diets
  • Improving the air that we breathe to prevent and manage illnesses
  • Championing the health benefits of access to nature by transforming our green spaces.

Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust

The Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust Green Plan define the trust’s commitment to sustainable development, with a primary focus on environmental sustainability and a drive towards the NHS’ Net Zero targets.

The Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust Green Plan sets out a prioritised set of high-impact actions that are measurable and deliver reductions in carbon emissions, as well as financial and social benefits.

Objectives of the trust plan include:
