SEL Neighbourhood Care – Staff Activation Webinar
Introduction to Neighbourhood Care Session, on 30th April at 15:00–16:00

This webinar introduced the South East London Neighbourhood Care programme and explored how integrated neighbourhood teams will support more joined-up, proactive and person-centred care across local communities.

The session covered the vision for neighbourhood health, why this approach is a key priority for south east London, and how health, social care, local authorities and voluntary sector partners will work together to improve outcomes, tackle health inequalities and deliver care closer to home. Speakers also shared the benefits of neighbourhood working for residents, communities and staff, alongside the next steps for implementation across south east London’s 25 neighbourhoods.

Population Health Management (PHM) Session, on 2nd June 2026 at 14:00–15:00

This webinar explored how PHM supports proactive, preventative and neighbourhood-based care across south east London.

The session highlighted how data, analytics and population insight can help identify need earlier, reduce health inequalities and improve outcomes. Speakers shared practical examples from primary care and integrated neighbourhood teams, demonstrating how PHM enables more joined-up, person-centred care and supports the delivery of integrated neighbourhood working.

Digital Tools & Apps Session, on 8h July at 13:00-14:00

This webinar focused on digital tools and apps, and how they can support more joined-up, person-centred care across south east London.

The session covered the NHS 10 Year Plan’s shift from analogue to digital, including the NHS App, single patient record, AI-enabled services, digital inclusion and tools to support integrated neighbourhood teams.

Artificial Intelligence Session, on 16th July at 12:30-13:30

Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Healthcare forms part of the SEL Neighbourhood Care Staff Activation Webinar Series, supporting colleagues to understand the opportunities of AI across health and care.

Led by Jawad Chaudhury from the AI Centre, the session demystified AI, showcased real-world NHS applications, explored its potential to support neighbourhood care, and highlighted the SEL AI Framework for safe and effective adoption.
