New Bromley Health and Wellbeing Centre

The new Bromley Health and Wellbeing Centre at Westmoreland Place, next to the new Civic Centre building in central Bromley.

The new Health and Wellbeing Centre will house a range of health and care services for local people including the relocation of the Dysart GP surgery, the Wellbeing Hub that was previously located in The Glades, as well as community, outpatient and wellbeing facilities. It is being designed to provide accessible, efficient and integrated health care in a modern and welcoming environment, tailored to meet a range of health needs.

The centre, which will improve local health facilities, is the result of the successful partnership between Bromley council and the NHS.

Benefits to residents:

  • An improved home for the Dysart Surgery GP practice.
  • A range of primary care, community, hospital care and wellbeing services provided under one roof in an accessible location.
  • Services will be better able to work closely together to provide more joined up care.
  • Residents will avoid having to go to hospital for some services.
  • An accessible location with good disabled access and transport links.
  • It will provide a similar model to the Beckenham Beacon and Orpington Health and Wellbeing Centres, both of which are well utilised, accessible modern buildings which house a number of services under one roof.

The Bromley Health and Wellbeing Centre was previously planned for development at the former Adventure Kingdom site at the Civic Centre, but plans were deemed unviable due to surging inflation and elevated construction costs.
