On this page, we want to break the taboo surrounding death and dying. Let’s talk about it.

What matters to you> Let's talk about it. Palliative care - let's make every moment matter

Palliative care is all about quality of life – living as well as possible for as long as possible.

Sharing tea and cake. Sitting outside in the sunshine. Laughing with friends. Listening to the rain. Spending time with family. Making the most of life.

Talking about death and dying is important. It can help you to understand what matters most and to think about the care you would like to receive in the future.

Close-up shot of two Black women embracing outdoors. The woman in the foreground has shoulder-length auburn hair and is wearing a dark-colored top. She has a warm smile, showcasing her slightly crooked teeth, and her expression is one of happiness and affection. The woman behind her has dark brown, straight hair that falls past her shoulders, and she's wearing a light beige, sleeveless top. Her head rests on the shoulder of the woman in front, and she also has a soft smile, conveying a sense of comfort and closeness. The background is softly blurred, showing a green, leafy environment, suggesting a park or garden setting. The focus is sharply on the two women, highlighting their connection and positive emotions.
