You can now contact an abortion provider directly by phone or web. Please see below for further information.

If you are a resident or registered with a GP Practice located in the following South East London ICB boroughs:

  • Bexley
  • Bromley
  • Greenwich
  • Lambeth
  • Lewisham
  • Southwark

You can choose to have your abortion with either BPAS, MSI or NUPAS.

If you are not a resident or not registered at a GP Practice in the above boroughs, you can use the information on this page to contact a provider of your choice, and they will be able to give you more information.

Please note: Legally, all abortions must be performed by 23 weeks and 6 days of pregnancy*

Wait times for a procedure can vary, but should be completed within 14 days from when you first contact the abortion provider of your choice.  The 14 days includes having a consultation before your procedure.

A consultation will determine next steps, which might include the procedure being provided in an NHS hospital. If this is needed, it will be arranged by the abortion provider.

Contraception and Sexually Transmitted Infections (STI) testing

Contraception’s (implant, coil, pill & injection), STI & HIV testing are offered during the abortion process.
