The South East London Create (Spread and Scale) Academy is a training event designed to give people the tools and skills needed to spread improvements and innovations at scale across their organisations and beyond.
It is open to teams from all parts of our health and care system who have successful projects that are ready to spread and scale across our integrated care system.
We welcome applications from teams in south east London, particularly where there is a mix of organisations who have collaborated on an innovative project to benefit health and wellbeing.
We also welcome applications from projects developed in or outside of south east London, where there is an opportunity to scale them within the ICS led by local teams and deliver better care for our community.

The Create (Spread and Scale) Academy is delivered by the Dragon’s Heart Institute in partnership with the Billions Institute, an American organisation that specialises in teaching how to deliver large-scale meaningful change.
Three Academies have been held thus far, in September 2022, March 2023 and October 2023. Information regarding future Academies will be provided here in due course.

It takes around 17 years for any given solution to spread to even half of the population who could benefit from it. We don’t have that kind of time.
